This Twin quilt was sewed together on the machine then i hand quilted it. Takes longer than machine but still rewarding. I did not zig zag around the doll this time. I did a straight stitch about 1/8" from the turned under edge. (starched and pressed) After the dolls were sewed to the back ground fabric all i did was sew a border around the square. Sewed all the squares together alternating the different color bonnets. This little quilt is reversible. On the back i cut squares out of the fabric i used on the front alternating the colors. For batting in the middle i used flannel. This quilt should be softer each time it is washed. The hand quilting don't show. I used matching thread. Used a straight stitch nothing fancy.
